The Limited Lifetime Warranty offered by SOFAWEB.COM Inc. is comprehensive in all areas described hereunder. Please read carefully.

SOFAWEB.COM will repair or replace with equivalent materials (if identical goods are not available) any defective material used in the Company’s product as defined in the following text.

1.SOFAWEB.COM guarantees this product has been upholstered in 100 percent genuine leather covers, and warrants the leather against

Peeling – The finish will not peel from the leather.

Cracking – The leather will resist cracking under normal use.

Tearing and Splitting – The leather will resist tearing and splitting under normal use.

Fading – The finished leather resists fading, except in direct sunlight.

Tackiness – The leather will not become tacky or sticky.

This Warranty is good for one (1) year under normal household usage. This Warranty does not include coverage for wrinkling or natural markings from injuries to the hide, variations in grain, or color variations. These are proof that genuine cowhide leather has been used.

Frame Construction

Frames are constructed from select hardwood lumbers all of which have been carefully dried, milled and processed to remove defects that could cause structural weakness. All corners and structured stress points are reinforced with corner blocks that are firmly glued then screwed in place. SOFAWEB.COM warrants its frames against defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product under normal household conditions.

Cushion Construction

SOFAWEB.COM warrants all cushions against loss of foam resiliency for a period of two (2) years from the date of delivery under normal household conditions. Your foam will conform to its user with use and aging. Do not confuse normal softening and flattening that occurs in all foam with actual loss of foam resiliency. Only the latter is covered by this Warranty.

Spring Construction

SOFAWEB.COM uses the finest spring base construction available for upholstered furniture. SOFAWEB.COM warrants that the spring construction in this product is free from material and workmanship for a period not to exceed five (5) years from the date of purchase under normal household use.

Motion Mechanisms/Sleeper Mechanisms/Inner Spring Mattresses/Massage Systems

SOFAWEB.COM warrants all motion and sleeper mechanisms against defective materials, or workmanship for one (1) year from the date of delivery under normal household conditions. Inner spring sleeper mattresses and massage systems are warranted to be free of defects for one (1) year from the date of purchase under normal household conditions.

Conditions

This Warranty shall extend only to the original purchaser of the furniture at the original delivery address. This Warranty cannot be transferred. This Warranty shall extend only to furniture used in the purchaser’s home. Corporation or contract purchase, or any use of the furniture for the general public is not covered by this Warranty.

You must retain your original bill of sale in order for the warranty to be valid.

Warranty Service

Claims are to be made through an authorized SOFAWEB.COM representative. SOFAWEB.COM’s obligation under this Warranty is limited to repairing or replacing at SOFAWEB.COM option any part or product found to be defective in material or workmanship. SOFAWEB.COM, in its sole discretion, will determine the cause and nature of any defect, the necessity and manner of repair or replacement, and all other matters pertaining to the condition of the furniture. If it should become necessary to return the product to the factory for repairs, the cost of packing, brokerage and shipping to and from the factory are not covered by this Warranty. Evidence of original ownership such as sales invoice or other documents of purchase will be required.

Exclusions

This Warranty will not apply to any conditions or defects resulting from commercial usage, negligence, misuse, alterations, fire, accidents, improper cleaning, contact with sharp or rough objects, or contact with any foreign substance. Claims due to cuts, burns or pet damage are excluded. Concealed freight damage, such as scuff and rub marks, are excluded from this Warranty. This Warranty does not cover fading due to exposure to the sun. SOFAWEB.COM makes no other express warranties, any implied warranties, including warranties as to marketability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nor shall SOFAWEB.COM have any responsibility for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the breach of this Warranty, including but not limited to inconvenience, rental or purchase of replacement products, loss of profits or commercial loss.
Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state or province to province.
